Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. Key Club members make the world a better place through service. In doing so, they grow as individuals and as leaders by answering the call to lead, summoning the courage to engage and developing the heart to serve.
Key Club members learn how to lead and stand for what’s right through service and volunteerism. In partnership with our local Kiwanis club, high school students are making a positive impact as they serve others in their schools and community.
The Red Bluff Kiwanis group organizes many events throughout the year centered around the youth; some fundraising events and some fun events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and our Summer Camp. Another area of focus is through awarding scholarships by recognizing outstanding youth in our community who embody the same values we do. The Scholarship Committee seeks candidates seeking a 4-year degree, AA, or trade school education and who possess the following qualifications:
• A graduating High School Senior of a Tehama County School
• An active member of Key Club
• Participates in extracurricular activities (school or community)
• Has a minimum GPA of 2.0
